P.S. An interesting sidenote: I listed the property with a Realtor 30 days prior to the Event as suggested. On our initial meeting, she hadn’t known of my plans for the Liquidation Event and so put together some information and a suggested listing price – Ironically, my ultimate sales price at the Event was $10,000 less than her suggested price but my net profit, including a $1,500 discount to the buyer for a quick close and a1% commission to my realtor for her time and effort, ended up being $1,000 more than her projected profits if I had sold it through her at a full price contract – it’s amazing how much standard commissions and closing costs eat up!!!
